How to use “Шо по бабках”: from the first sign-in to reports, partners and deleting your account.
Sign-up and sign-in
You can sign in with a phone number or an e-mail address — whichever you prefer. Both are equal, and the second one can be added later.
- Open the app and enter your number in
+380…format or your e-mail address. - Wait for the code — it arrives by SMS or by e-mail — and enter it. On your first visit the app also asks for your name.
- After the first sign-in you are asked to set a password. It lets you skip the SMS next time — choose “Sign in with password” on the login screen.
A code is valid for 5 minutes and can be re-sent after a minute. If nothing arrives, check the number or address — and for e-mail, look in the spam folder.
The second sign-in method is added under Settings → Sign-in methods: enter the e-mail (or the phone, if the account was created with an e-mail) and confirm it with a code. After that either one gets you in.
Projects and their types
A project is any venture whose money you want to see separately: an order, a location, a line of work, a joint business.
To create one go to Projects → New project and pick a type:
- Regular — income, expenses, profit.
- Debt — set the principal. Every expense in this project counts as a repayment and the app shows what is left.
- Savings — a pot with an optional target and its own currency symbol. It stays out of business profit.
Do not delete a finished project — send it to the Archive from the “⋮” menu on its card. It disappears from the dashboard and the main list but keeps its full history.
Transactions and attachments
Add a transaction from any screen with the “+” button.
- Pick the project and the type — income or expense.
- Enter the amount and date, choose a category.
- Optionally add a description and attach a file: Attach picks from the gallery, Take photo shoots the receipt right away.
The Transactions section collects everything in one list with search and filters by project, category, type and period.
Categories
Categories are shared across your projects and are defined separately for income and expenses: Settings → Categories.
Keep them coarse: 5–10 expense categories produce readable reports, thirty do not. People you invite to a project work with your categories, so they have nothing to set up.
Partners and profit split
Partners are defined inside a project and apply only there.
- Open the project → Partners → Add partner.
- Enter a name and a share in percent. Shares cannot add up to more than 100.
The Profit distribution panel shows a row per participant, including you: your share is 100% minus the partners’ shares. For each one it shows earned (their share of the project profit), paid out and the balance.
Profit is income minus expenses of the project. Payouts to partners are not project expenses — otherwise profit would be reduced twice.
Payouts
A payout records that a partner has received money: open the project → Payouts → Add payout. Choose the partner, month, amount and an optional note.
The form shows the project profit for the chosen month, what the partner is owed and what has already been paid, so you do not overpay by accident. Pay more than owed and the balance goes negative, marked as an overpayment.
Reports and export
The Reports section is built for a chosen period — this month, last month, this year or custom dates — and for all projects or a single one.
- Financial state — income, expenses, profit and the comparison with the previous period.
- Dynamics — how the numbers moved month by month.
- By category — where the money actually goes.
- By partner — owed versus paid.
- Debts — outstanding balances of debt projects.
The Export button downloads the report as CSV, which opens in Excel, Numbers and Google Sheets.
Settings and appearance
Settings → Profile: your name, interface language (Ukrainian or English) and password.
Appearance: light and dark themes, two layout templates and five colour schemes. Rounding is configured separately — to whole units, tens, hundreds or thousands — so large numbers stay readable.
Deleting your account
Settings → Delete account. You confirm by typing a word, because it cannot be undone: the account, all projects, transactions, categories, partners, payouts and uploaded files are removed.
If you cannot reach the app, write to our email from the number on the account. Details are in the privacy policy.
